Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Codaiman (“we”, “us”) handles information across our website codaiman.com and our browser extensions (the “Services”). We built our extensions to be privacy-first: most of them run entirely in your browser and send nothing to our servers.

Settings stay on your device. Our extensions store your preferences (like toggles, blocklists, saved sessions or recent colors) locally using the browser’s own storage. This data is not transmitted to Codaiman and we cannot see it.

No tracking or analytics. Our extensions do not include Codaiman analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and we do not build user profiles.

Permissions. Each extension requests only the permissions it needs to work (for example, an ad blocker needs access to page content to hide ads). We use permissions solely for the extension’s stated single purpose — never to collect or sell data.

AI Summarizer. When you summarize a page, the page’s text is sent directly to the AI provider you choose (OpenAI, Google Gemini or Groq) using your own API key, which is stored on your device. That request is governed by the chosen provider’s privacy policy. Codaiman does not receive, store, or see this content or your key.

Free VPN / Proxy. If you configure and connect this extension, your browser traffic is routed through the proxy server you point it at. Choose a server you trust; Codaiman does not operate a logging server for you by default.

Account information. If you create an account or sign in, we store your name and email to operate your account and provide the Services.

Contact & forms. If you contact us or submit a form, we keep the details you provide so we can respond.

Standard logs. Like most websites, our hosting keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We only use the information described above to run and improve the Services.

We keep account and contact data only as long as needed to provide the Services or as required by law. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
