About URL to Screenshot

Sometimes you need a clean, full-page image of a live site rather than a manual scroll-and-stitch in your OS screenshot tool. Whether you're documenting a bug, building a portfolio, or generating preview thumbnails, URL to Screenshot renders the entire page top to bottom and hands you a single image without you ever opening the page yourself.

Enter a URL and the tool loads the page in a headless browser, captures the full scrollable height, and returns the screenshot for download. There's nothing to install, no browser extension, and no account. It runs server-side so you get a consistent render regardless of your local machine, and the result is delivered instantly for you to save or embed.

Common uses

  • Generating preview thumbnails of pages for documentation or dashboards
  • Archiving the visual state of a landing page before a deploy or redesign
  • Building before-and-after comparisons of a site during development

FAQ

Does it capture the whole page or just what fits on screen?

It captures the entire scrollable page from top to bottom, not just the visible viewport.

Can it screenshot pages behind a login?

No. It can only reach pages that are publicly accessible. Anything requiring authentication or a session cookie won't render.

Why does my screenshot miss lazy-loaded content?

Some pages load images or sections only after user interaction or delayed scripts. Content that never loads during the automated render may not appear in the capture.

Can I use URL to Screenshot on mobile?

Yes — ToolHub is fully responsive and works on iPhone, Android, tablets and all modern browsers. No app install needed.
